Is there a cost to attend this school?
No. Newberry Charter Academy is a FREE Public Charter School open to all students in South Carolina. NCA will NEVER charge tuition.

Will students wear uniforms?
Yes. Our students will have a school uniform that will be available at the school. Our uniforms are cost effective and durable. The students can leave behind the worries of "am I dressed ok?" at the door of the school and simply enjoy learning and playing with their friends! Our uniforms will have the school crest on the front as well as a small American flag on the right sleeve.
When will NCA open and what grades will be served
August, 2022, with 5 year old Kindergarten through the 5th grade. GCA will add a grade each year until we are a K-8th grade campus. We can't do it without you. How do I show my support?
Click on this link to fill out an Interest Form. Enrollment will come after approval of our school from the sponsor but we must show the interest is in Newberry County for our school. Will the school have busing?
YES! Our school will provide bus options serving communities with group stops. The bus service will be at no charge.
Does the school have a mascot and colors?
Yes. We are the Newberry Charter Academy Patriots and our colors are red, white, and blue.
